      Description

I love this region of Scorpius.  The depth, beauty, and diversity of our own galaxy is on display, with some of our nearest stellar neighbors cloaked in nebulosity of all types and colors, not quite managing to steal all attention away from the magnificent globular clusters M4 and NGC 6144 much farther away.  This was captured almost as an afterthought, to burn an hour of time while my intended real target of the night was still rising.   I don't remember what else I did that night, but I was pleasantly satisfied with this short little shot, even with the extremely short integration time.  Bortle 1 skies helped, of course.
